There's no point in even holding elections in the south.

Has there ever been? Wink

Surprisingly, it isn't Gurrl Power.  It's Tea Party folks, self-identified "liberals," and the 18-29 crowd.  (See crosstabs)

Does anyone have any thoughts as to why the youth vote is so motivated by Bachmann?

My guess is that the youth population is rather polarized on social issues and that she's pulling in the really socially conservative youth. The idea that the young are all superliberal or libertarian is not true.

My guess is that crosstabs that small are pointless to analyze.

Generally true, but this pattern has been popping up rather consistently in polling.
