2010 NV Governors Race (Brian Sandoval) is similar to 2006 AK Governors Race(Sarah Palin).
In Alaska-2006- Frank Murkowski- who was then a highly unpopular and controversial Republican Governor badly lost in the GOP primary to Sarah Palin-who is the outsider seen as the rising star. Palin defeated Democratic nominee-Tony Knowles-who was a 2 term Governor in the general election.
In Nevada-2010- Jim Gibbons-like Frank Murkowski- is a highly unpopular and controverisal Republican Governor facing re-election. He will lose in the primary to Brian Sandoval-who like Sarah Palin is seen as the outsider and a rising star-until the 2008 Presidential campaign which she turned out to be a nutcase. Regarding the general election. Sandoval will probally defeat Reid but will have a tough time against Oscar Goodman.
