For American Idol, I always vote for the hottest girl until there isn't one left (if that happens) and then I vote based on the singing or strategically. I wouldn't do that for a POTUS election though.
That's the difference. Some people are still voting for president based on the same kind of criteria they do for those kind of shows. It's no better than voting solely on race. I'd like to think most people aren't that superficial, but I'm probably wrong.
And when the last girl goes on Idol, I stop watching.
