Hastert is an uninspiring hack, kind of like the Brezhnev of the Republican congressional era.

I don't think he should resign now, though, because it's too late to do any good for the party.  He might as well stick it out until after the election.  But whatever party is in the majority in the house next session, Hastert should not be part of the Republican leadership.

In the unlikely event that the Republicans hold on to their majority, I doubt Hastert will be the speaker next session.

On Fox News today neoconservative dimwit Bill Kristol went as far as to call Kean Jr. "an idiot" for calling on Hastert to resign.

Amazing how the left bashes FOX so much yet they seem to watch the channel more often than anyone else.

Know your enemy.

It never ceases to amaze me how much FOX news gets under the skin of liberals.

For decades, those of us who are not liberal had to endure a virtual liberal monopoly on the media.  Now that liberals only control 90% of the media, instead of 100%, they just can't handle it.

Worse is that FOX is beating the liberal channels in the ratings.  Ouch.
