1. James Buchanan
2. Franklin Pierce
3. Warren Harding
4. Ulysses Grant
5. Herbert Hoover-Jimmy Carter tie

That's a pretty good list, though I'd part Carter on there in his own right.

Carter? I haven't made you think any better of him? Sad

Actually you have.  But my opinion of him was so low that I still consider him one of the worst presidents.

I do think he did some good things.  The only problem is that all the good things he did were unintentional and/or forced.  He never wanted to do them.  And the stuff he wanted to do was mostly bad.  So there some unintended good consequences to some of the things he did.  He would actually hate to have that as his legacy.

I also hate what he has become -- an arrogant, holier-than-thou old scold.  He ought to STFU at this point, in my opinion.

Notice how almost every blue avatar has FDR on their list? Apparently 25% unemployment doesn't matter to them. What is wrong with you people? Franklin Roosevelt is the Best President ever. Lyndon Johnson is second best.

1. George W. Bush- Not once has he EVER reached out to Democrats, not once in 5 years. Its like we don't exist at all to him.

2. Ronald Reagan- I never thought I'd hate someone more than Reagan

3. Warren G. Harding

4. Herbert Hoover

5. Unsure: Could be Taft or Cleveland or Pierce

I don't have FDR on my list.

1. James Buchanan
2. Franklin Pierce
3. Andrew Johnson
4. Millard Fillmore
5. Herbert Hoover

I like your list, thefactor, though don't you think you should replace Hoover with Carter? Tongue Smiley Cheesy  [See, it's fun busting on your man marbles.]

BTW man, there's a book out about Jimmy Carter calling him our worst ex-president.  While I strongly dislike Carter, I thought the book went a little overboard in some of its criticisms of him.

What exactly is the reasoning behind placing Clinton in the top 5 worst?  It really makes little sense; none of his actions cause anything to collapse.  The lone real criticism of him from the right seems to be that he let the Islamists prep for 9-11 in the '90s while ignoring the threat, and at best that's just an accusation.

There are so many who are obviously worse than him.

I agree that there were many worse in terms of policy.  I think there were probably only a few, if any, that were worse in terms of character, and in terms of placing the public interest over his own private interest.

BTW, I did not list Clinton as one of the worst.
