Shoot, I was just about ready to post this.

Not just because of this, but I'm starting to think Romney has a very serious chance of winning Iowa. A win in Iowa will almost certainly lead to a good win in New Hampshire, and at that point, barring a major scandal (doubtful, as if there was anything worse on Romney, it would have been exploited by now), it will be extremely difficult to stop him.

I've said this before - Romney needs to campaign hard in Iowa. He has the resources and organization to win there.

"If he is the GOP nominee, the nation would have a clear choice in November 2012."

Really? As a center right Republican he's not that different on the issues then our current center left President.

There is a HUGE difference between Romney and Obama on economic issues.

Anyway, I knew this endorsement was coming. Most people are not going to endorse anybody associated with Washington, so that basically leaves Romney and Perry (Arguably Paul and Huntsman even though they have served/lived in Washington). Pretty easy choice, all things considered.
As well as social issues. Both seem like very pleasant men, but when it comes to issues, they are extremely different. Maybe neither of them are "extreme", but that certainly doesn't mean they're about the same.
