The President will be making a statement at some point tomorrow regarding the killing of Osama Bin Laden.

(Yeah, I would do it tonight, but I figure no one's really concerned about Atlasia at this moment and are celebrating a victory for America. And it's late.) Tongue

Statement from the President

Good Evening,

This will be brief. I'd like to inform Atlasia that within several days, the administration will be outling our plans for Afghanistan and Iraq. Our plans have certainly been altered with the killing of Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden. We believe the course of action we will be taking is in the best interests of this nation, and we look forward to releasing our plans in the near future.

Thank you, and Dave Bless.

Statement from the President

Good Evening,

Tonight, my fellow Atlasians, we received devastating word a little over two hours ago that the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri has been bombed. The federal government is currently waiting as more information piles in, but our hearts and prayers go out to the families of the victims of this tragedy. The federal government is ready to send any sort of aid needed to the St. Louis area as we learn more of what happened.

It is of vital importance that we find out who was responsible for this attack on American soil. And when we find them, they will pay for this.

God Bless Atlasia, and God Bless St. Louis.

Statement from the White House

The White House has received word that the terrorist group Al Qaeda has claimed responsibility for the attack in St. Louis, Missouri. It will be a top priority in our administration to find who was responsible for this terrible attack and make sure they pay for what they have done to many innocent Atlasians.

Mr. President,

I am extremely disappointed. I just looked at the Statute page and it seems AG AndrewCT didn't do a s**t on this field.

Thank you for addressing this issue.

I contacted AndrewCT yesterday afternoon about updating the Wiki. While he was unable to update the Wiki at that moment since he can't on his office computers, I am confident he'll update the Wiki within a day or so.

Statement From the President

In recent weeks, AG AndrewCT has fallen very inactive due to personal reasons. For that, I have decided to remove him from the position of Attorney General.

The position of Attorney General is now open. Please contact me or Dallasfan if you are interested in the position.

Statement From the President

The position of Attorney General has been one of difficulty for us in this administration, as we've already gone through two, both failing to stay active. Tonight, after several days with absolutely no interest, I reached out to a member who has a strong history of being active and updating the Wiki, and I'm sure he'll do an excellent job at the position for at least the remainder of this term.

I hereby appoint Teddy to the position of AG. Yankee, do your business. Wink

Statement From the President

First, I would like to thank Badger for the incredible job he's done as Game Moderator. My hats off to him for a job well done.

Regarding his replacement, I was looking for a quality member of the forum who also will be active enough to successfully fulfill the role. This person has made huge strides in recent weeks in his current position, and I have no doubt he'll make an excellent successor to Badger.

I hereby appoint Yelnoc to the position of Game Moderator.

Statement From the President

From now until Saturday, June 18th, I will be on a leave of absence. I'll be attending Hoosier Boys State. I've heard that you can get on the internet there, but I'm going to try and stay off as much as possible and enjoy the experience. That being said, don't be surprised if you see me show up a couple times. Wink

I'm planning on running for Secretary of State. Hopefully I'll have as much success there as I have in Atlasia. Wish me luck! Tongue

Statement from Tmthforu94

We'll give this a go...

I'll be announcing my new pick for the Supreme Court. Despite what the conspirators think, I'm not looking to appoint someone who I think will side with me, I'm looking for someone who I think will be active, fair, and have integrity in his position.

I hereby appoint Oakvale to the vacant spot on the Supreme Court.

Simultaneously, I'd also like to nominate Ebowed to the position of Chief Justice.

Should Yankee or a majority of the Senate not feel comfortable giving these gentlemen a fair hearing solely because of the person nominating them, my only hope is that President-elect Polnut see's in them the same qualities that I do.

Good Evening,

On January 2nd, 2011, a campaign was launched to restore hope to Atlasia. This campaign promised activity, a hard working administration, and reform that would be beneficial to all of Atlasia. You believed in the message I campaigned on, and gave the honor of serving as your President.

Today, as I sit here on my last full day as President of Atlasia, I can’t help but marvel at the accomplishments that have been made. I was successfully able to fulfill my promise of being one of the most active President’s Atlasia has ever had. Not only I, but other members of my administration as well, were able to pass key pieces of reform and provide many amendments to various pieces of legislation.

While we were not able to tackle every piece of the platform, I’m pleased at the amount of checks I am able to make to it. We solved the problem with the GM position by the passage of the Game Moderator Reform Act of 2011, which eased the workload on the GM and brought relevance to the SoIA and SoEA positions. While the bill is not perfect and may need some editing, it is certainly a step in the right direction. A huge shoutout to Benconstine for his help on the bill. Registration requirements will also very soon be lowered. I commend the Senate for being able to work together and find middle ground on that amendment. We were also able to actually bring some relevance to foreign policy, an area that has been largely ignored in past administrations.

The one area I was disappointed we couldn’t do more on was the national debt. We were looking forward to being able to make large cuts to our national budget, but our plans were stalled when it was uncovered Atlasia is still involved in Iraq and Afghanistan. The administration has been working to find a solution to those conflicts, and I look forward to being able to play some sort of role in helping President-elect Polnut to resolving the conflict and bringing our troops safely home.

This is only the beginning – our plan to help restore and revitalize Atlasia doesn’t end tomorrow at noon. With the help of all of you, we can continue forth the march, and build a brighter, more active future for Atlasia.

How do I feel overall about my administration? Mission Accomplished. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Thank you all, and goodnight.

Signing Off,

President Tmthforu94 Smiley
