It seems like a pretty good office, and I'll probably vote for this bill, but I have a feeling unless we get someone extremely committed to this, it will be an inactive post.

Hopefully there are some out there who would be committed to the position, and working in concert with the GM. But I think it's worth a trial run.
Yep. Hopefully the President has someone in mind. The only person who is coming to my mind is a popular Senator who probably wouldn't want to take this over being a Senator.
