I'm terribly sorry for not being able to get involved in this debate. I was out of town for most of the debate on this bill, which sucks, because this is somewhat up my ally, being in high school now...

So basically, if I understand this bill correctly, it's basicaly just lays out curriculum for schools? If so, I see nothing wrong with this. I didn't find any amendments, though, that made schools require to teach physical education at any school level. Was there a bill for that perviously? If not, there should be an amendment on it. Personally, I think there should be requirements, for the sake of the student's health. Kids need at least an hour of exercise a day, and most of them won't do it unless they have to.
