A rather sizable portion of religious people would agree with her. Certainly most practicing Catholics and evangelical types. It is, after all, the official position of a number of religions that masturbation is either bad or at least a minor corruption of some part of pure sexuality. I am not sure that I disagree with that; I believe that that view has some good points that I rather doubt many of you care about. That said, I'm sure most, though not all, of those people who hold the view that masturbation should be avoided are guilty in some shape or form of it themselves. Not that I'd ever attack someone for it.
