I don't understand how supporters can look at tweets that are so narcissistic and simplistic and still support this guy. You want a protectionist that's against illegal immigration? Fine. I don't agree with everything they'd support, but at least get one that speaks coherently and doesn't ramble on.
I'm no fan of most current Republican leaders, but I have never doubted that Mike Pence, Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, etc. are at least intelligent people even if their beliefs do not align with my own.
What about Mike Pence or Kevin McCarthy indicates intelligence to you? Both seem rather dim next to almost any non-Trump politicians.
