If I can vote in favor of striking Clause 4 I do so now, and then vote Aye for the Convention Resolution as a whole.

If it's too late to strike Clause 4...well, I don't want to defeat the Resolution over this matter, but I agree with the objections to Clause 4. In that case I vote Aye and ask the President to line-item veto Clause 4.
