When President Obama leaves the Presidency in January of 2017, he will only be 55 years of age.

We know that many  Presidents go on the lecture circuit, are visiting instructors at various universities, write their memoirs, open up their Presidential museum, devote some of their time to humanitarian work, etc.

Obviously, another run for the Presidency by Obama is out, due to the constitution.

The 2014 mid term elections aside, is it possible that President Obama may have a post Presidency political career ahead of him?  And if so, what specifically?

Please discuss.

Nope.

I don't even think he even wants a political career right now.

That's probably true at this time, but that's why I said The 2014 mid term elections aside.

He could be a good Supreme Court justice.

Agreed, but it probably won't happen.

William Howard Taft.

Obama might do less harm to the GOP in as a justice of the Supreme Court because he will be unable to aid any Democratic campaigns.

I see the sarcasm.

But would like to say probably more than 50% of the candidates he campaigned for lost.

And he only went to rock solid Democratic states, or so he thought.
