I remember Winfield's fawning over Palin in the fall of 2008 very well.

Well, I am most flattered that you would to this day recall my statements from as distant as four years ago.  I must have left a lasting impression.

Four years ago the Republicans were in a bad state of affairs, some would say hopeless.  So clearly I could not abandon my party in their darkest hour.  I therefore found it necessary to at least support the party ticket.  Fawning, however, is a gross exaggeration on your part.

I have stated on many, many occasions, however, that Palin was unqualified, and that is putting it mildly.

Joe Republic, although I appreciate the fact that you follow my pronouncements so closely, the word Lies is a very nasty word to go throwing around.

I have been known to perhaps change my mind, to alter my opinion, to evolve politically, to make an incorrect statement, perhaps to use poor judgment, to use sarcasm, but not lie.
