Both Barack Obama and the Republicans are right to say that the family should be off limits, but given Palin's very public pronouncements on abstinence-only education, discussing Bristol Palin's pregnancy is no different than discussing why an official who supports school busing is sending the kids to a private school. Her decision to accept the VP offer, in fact, is what puts the issue ON the table.
