Actually, Cao is personally pretty well liked.. A lot of people have respect for him.

Not really. Cao is a religious nut. 

By "religious nut", you mean devout Catholic, which isn't usually a detriment in Southern Louisiana.

You think people in New Orleans are "devout Catholics?" Err.....no. This thread reminds me of all the "Charlotte Bergmann" can win signs cluttering East Memphis. What a joke!

Many New Orleans residents are Catholics.  It's not a liability to be a Catholic in a Southern Louisiana election.  Being a Republican or other than black in LA-02, on the other hand...
