I am not against the idea of workers being represented, and I have defended some aspects of "stakeholder capitalism" while noting the obvious concerns about the present crew promoting that and what it is presently being used for in some cases.

That said, investors are entitled to at least an equal if not majority stake in determining what is being done with their investment capital. One of many scenarios is that foreign stocks become preferable to domestic ones.
