Their pizzas suck anyways.
I've had wildly different pizzas from there, haha ... sometimes, they're actually pretty decent and other times just terrible.
Their pizzas are an insult to the Midwest tbh.
I have no idea why, but Papa John's at like a school function or work party (and that's where everyone seems to order it from around here) tastes decent, and when I have ordered it for myself it's absolutely horrible, haha. But the previous comment about Pizza Hut reminded me of pizza I actually hate.
Your taste buds are like Bushie's and his Chef Boyardee Box Pizza.
Which among box pizza is vastly inferior to Appian Way, which they of course don't sell down here. They also don't sell Nardone's pizza, which is a local outfit out of Wilkes-Barre I think.
Anyway I wouldn't treat any as a substitute for a pizza from a nationwide chain of stores, but that being said I haven't had Pizza Hut in probably 12 or 13 years. We do have Papa Johns because it is close by.
But in my experience, the best pizzas are made by single restaurant small businesses, typically started by people from New York, but they also cost more.
