You will be President someday. It took Duke and Marokai exactly two years from their first attempts. Maybe, yours will be sooner. Wink

Truman ran an excellent campaign. I take full responsibility for my shortcomings as his running-mate.
Don't be ridiculous. You were a fantastic running mate.

I intend to follow the same winding path that led me to the Senate: suffer another defeat at the hands of a reformed sockmaster, then win in a squeaker as a write-in candidate on my third attempt. Wink

On a semi-related note, all three of my opponents from my first bid for the Senate (Kalwejt, Dkrol, and Poirot) voted for me in this election, as did both the candidates I defeated to take my seat in August (Evergreen and Pikachu). How times change...

August was damn awesome, there is no other way of putting it. It was my most favorite election since December 2013, because the results were basically the same. At-Large Conservative majority, with the radicals sent packing. Only in that sense August was even better:

We accomplished a full sweep for our party. Everybody won who ran. 2 At-Large Senate, South Governor and 2 NE assembly.

Cris won for the CRs securing our Conservative Majority

And we succeeded in cockblocking the dissolutions/seperatists/radicals, denying them a Senate seat with the Truman write-in gambit, thanks to the hard work of Truman and Duke.

Then Kalwejt resigned and the place went to crap until December. Tongue
