Unlike Bowie or MJ this one is extremely bothering me.
Prince was one of my hero's and helped get me through high school. Along with Iggy Pop his music helped me overcome the ignorance of my high school and discover my true self. I learned it was okay to be unique and weird from him and I will always be in amazement of his talents.
Prince was a talented musician and was never afraid to not be himself that inspired me a ton. That's when someone is a true legend in my book.
RIP
I never really appreciated Prince's talent until 2013 when I began to listen to a lot of his music courtesy of American Top 40 replays from the 1980's on Saturday mornings on one of the local radio stations.
Truly a great talent and probably one of the top five guitarists of all time.
