One of the best Governors in the country vs. washed-up former regional legislator doesn't seem like much of a contest to me.

I am sorry, but didn't you run against and defeat an incumbent Senator because he was inactive, run for reelection (both of which I supported by the way, though seems so long ago these days Roll Eyes) and then resign a month later because you couldn't serve out your term?

Deadprez is new and he did make a lot of mistakes. But if you want sustained activity, these regions are going to need competition. As a former resident of the once Liberal dominated Pacific, you should now that better than anyone.

We also have to encourage and support new players, not condemn them for making mistakes.

To be fair (on the activity part), the good people of the South (including yourself) know that I was still asking people to vote, even when the election was still uncontested. I do want activity, and under the current legislature, we've had sustained activity and it's very nice to see that activity in a region as small as ours.

As someone who actually campaigned, even when he was unopposed, you don't need to tell me that flo. Tongue

I was not criticizing your record as Governor, I am criticizing this notion that no one should dare challenge you. I was never conceited enough to take the same approach when people acclaimed the same to me and though it was touching, I pushed back against it even then when I was the object of such adulation.

I am also criticizing the tone that Oakvale took, which was uncalled for.
