One of the best Governors in the country vs. washed-up former regional legislator doesn't seem like much of a contest to me.
I am sorry, but didn't you run against and defeat an incumbent Senator because he was inactive, run for reelection (both of which I supported by the way, though seems so long ago these days
) and then resign a month later because you couldn't serve out your term?
Deadprez is new and he did make a lot of mistakes. But if you want sustained activity, these regions are going to need competition. As a former resident of the once Liberal dominated Pacific, you should now that better than anyone.
We also have to encourage and support new players, not condemn them for making mistakes.
