Both amendments are amending different parts of the bill, so yours wouldn't go away.

Technically, X's amendment assumes the failure of mine, because an amendment, even if not notated, changes all the text in the quote. At least, that's how Yankee interprets it.

Because Tyrion's amendment removes a clause and X's then inludes it. The order of the amendments means that X's reverses tyrion's. There is simply no other way to impartially interpret amendments thne in this fashion especailly since the rules state that all not included components will remain unchanged unless stated otherwise.

Mr. X, do you wish to revise this amendment to reflect the changes made by Tyrion's or do you prefer to proceed with reversing such?

Seriously, Adam, why limit yourself to just one accomplishment when the whole of your success can be so honored by simply removing the specificity? Tongue And while some might be fine with strategic registration, there are many who do not share the opinion. It seems to me that everyone would benefit from the amendment.

As do I. Cottonfield revitalized the South from a rotting cesspool to an oasis of activity and debate.

For some folks, the means by which an object is obtained are an area of concern. Tongue And just for the record, I strongly object to the Senator's terming of the IDS in such a disrespectfull fashion.

Regardless, I am withdrawing my latest amendment.

Amendment 59:82 has been adopted.

Here's a crazy idea I'm just throwing out there: why not let the South decide what to name her airports ?

I would support it, but it is clear that no amendments are passable at this point.

I would love to know just what MAtt voted on at 11:00 PM last night.

The VP may only vote when a bill is declared as tied. Until time expires, the vote total can change and thus until it expires under the rules, it is not tied and thus cannot be broken until that point.
