Why does it necessarily have to be wrong or immoral for you to like the taste of meat?

Why does it necessarily have to be wrong or immoral for you to like the taste of meat?

Because animals are living beings with feelings and emotions, and humans don't need to eat animals to live.

Is it morally defensible to unnecessarily inflict pain and suffering on a living creature?

Is not everything that humans consume, a living organism somewhere along the line? If it is wrong to differential between animals, is it not also wrong to differentiate amongst living organisms?

Excess or unnecessary destruction of organisms could be considered immoral, but doesn't a species reserve the right to exist? And if so, why must it be wrong to treat animals differently, but not wrong to differentiate at a higher level on the hierarchy of living organisms?

Nay, I guess

I can't figure out what happened with 10 or not, but I will jsut assume it was a mistkae on the Wiki and thus isn't law. If so, then I am reluctant to add it in.

I don't care much for the lack of references to the previous Act, which will create an interesting situation of trying to navigate what segments were repealed and what was not. It would be so much easy to operate from a basis of specifying that.

And finally, I would prefer that the bill keep the Regionalization brought in by Afleitch's redraft, only this time with some more aggressive implementation and enforcement on the part of the Secretary of Internal Affairs, with the Secretary being placed in charge of the enforcement in the act itself.

Senator Nix is now sponsor.

I did not see where the previous one was withdrawn so we proceed with that first.

This is identical to Hagrid's proposal, except (1) it eliminates fines as a penalty altogether, and (2) it does not rescind the ban on the use of growth hormones.

Is it based on paranoia or some kind convenient cover to protect domestic agriculture in the EU?

I do find it hilarious that Europe of all people is rejecting science, the irony is just so rich it is priceless...starts laughing for ten minutes.

Also, has the government moved to take these measures as a means to try and motivate the EU to change its course?

Okay I am going to open this then, but I need someone to compile the Final Text for me, since it is huge and I am running out of time and need to go off the site for a few hours. Thanks in advance.

Senators, this bill is now at final vote, please vote Aye, Nay or Abstain.

Aye

There are some pretty solid restrictions in here, even if some outright bans are lifted in the process and such doesn't negate that in my opinion. I think overall it is improvement on current statute, especially since it has the effect of consolidating the animal protection policy into one statute.

Since this has enough votes to pass, Duke can call 24 hours on vote changes.
