You could also credit Paul's efforts for getting an Federal Reserve audit and pro-Gold standard language into the GOP platform - which is likely what it was all about from the get go.
I don't believe that Romney supports any of those things.
You're probably right, but that's really irrelevant (especially if Romney loses). It's more to do with driving the GOP of the future in a certain direction.
So why not making some noise inside the RNC?
Paul's a classy guy and it's also my understanding that, while they disagree on a number of issues, Paul and Romney have an amicable relationship. Romney won the primary fair and square, so why endanger the ultimate goal of getting your ideas into the platform by throwing a hissy fit on the floor of the convention and ruining your friend's big day?
