Technically speaking Romney could be doing far better then this even within this ongoing primary, which such would have avoided if one gets 100% technical. Tongue

Mittens has a tendency to underperform and when you are a terrible speaker, a mediocre to slightly okay debater (with no debates), and have to rely on mass bombardment of substandard and low quality advertising, that is not that much of a surprise.

I think this lead in IL is real though.

IL is not full of people who cling to their guns and bibles.

It is outside of Chicago, I believe.

There a lot of "Torie Like" Republicans in DuPage county who probably want your head for that. Tongue

And don't forget, "rino Mark Kirk" got 57% in a GOP primary for Senate back in 2010. And he won plenty of rural downstate counties as well. But he murdered it in Cook and the ring counties. Subtract 10% to 15% and you might have Mitt's likely performances in most of the counties.
