I was told a few days ago by an administration official that position didn't need confirmation. I orginally thought it did.

I suggest you change the word nominate to "recommend Lief be nominated".


The bill says you recommend and Prez nominates recommendation.

Perhaps you should change the second half of the last sentence as well. To something like, "I urge the President to nominate and the Senate to.....".

Statement on Libya

We applaud the decision of the United Nations to vote for a No-Fly Zone over Libya.  Hopefully the Senate will soon approve a resolution allowing Atlasia to contribute forces to maintaining that No-Fly Zone.

I would suggest pming a specific Senator directly, if you haven't already with your preferred text to be introduced.

I believe it does; I remember there being a foreign policy slot, although it may be filled/never passed into law.

The Afghan bill is in that slot currently.
