Meek support is likely both 1) Young and 2) African American. These are not the FL Dems who would likely switch to Crist which are older, Jewish, and hispanic voters. Most of them have already voted. Meek dropping out would change the composition of the electorate on election day and possibly push Rubio over 50% without him even gaining a single vote. Then all the side effects come in. Lower young and black turnout damages House seats, Sink, and State Legislative races, on the eve of the redistricting.

It really doesn't matter, as for the 100th time, Meek will not leave this race unless he falls to the low teens/single digits.
