Yeah old age can do horrible things to people. I lived with my grandfather...... and saw him die it was horrible. That also is why I know so many old people.

I'm afraid of dying some horrific death in which I know I'm going to die. I hope I go peacefully in my sleep.

Old preferably, but of course I have no say in the matter.

because, subjectively, the world only exists from my perspective.  the idea that I will be gone yet everything else will carry on without a skipped step spooks me a little bit.  it makes me realize how irrelevant I am.

 think of it this way, you are the one who passes down knowledge and brings new ways to think of problems and ideas. I would rather die if I could pass that stuff down then affect  no one.

that tomorrow will yield the exact same thing as today. Which it almost certainly will, so I'm not sure I why I fear it. Perhaps "dread' is a better term.

I guess my greatest fear is not being loved. But that won't happen since I am me. I read in a paper that statistics show that people are more afraid of getting old then dieing. I think that is true for the most part.

I am afraid of continuing to live past my time with a degraded brain. I plan to avoid that.

this is a very good question what do you fear, well i think to some degree to another
 everybody fears dying, honestly I fear that when I die there will be no god or afterlife or higher plain of existence what ever you want to call it. I have a great fear that I won't my make the most of existence hear on this earth.
