The question here for Senators is this: What's more important?  Opening up China, or keeping Nixon out of office?

That's why I've largely remained silent here. Xahar has done things of dubious legality, which is not desirable in an Attorney General. However, the Wiki could not be in any better hands. This is especially crucial as many parts of the Wiki have undergone long periods of neglect. We basically have nothing on the Southeast after June 2007, though that's beyond the scope of the AG's duties.

Undecided I'm rather torn over this appointment. I guess the only responsible thing for me to do here is to vote based on how my constituents feel. I've been involved in the Southeast long enough, though, to know that they have a negative history with Xahar.

Nay, though not without reservations. Undecided

I guess we better get used to AG Xahar now.

The only Senator left to vote is Torie. If you'll remember, he told us that we should be grateful that Xahar is even willing to take the job. That's what I call an endorsement.

I guess we should be happy at least that if he tries anything funny, we have an ally in President Bgwah.

This is absurd. Screw ethical issues; the nominee is clearly qualified and would clearly do a good job.
Screw ethical issues?  You are aware that the job he is being assigned has the responsibility of prosecuting crimes for ETHICS violations?

This is like appointing O.J. to be a judge

Sensei or Happy I beg of you to not abstain this vote is too important

I couldn't agree with you more. The job involves much more than updating the wiki. He's a good kid and all, but I don't think he is right for AG.
Naming him SoEA would have a better way to sweep him under the rug Tongue

Except for the bill I introduced to better define the powers of the SoEA. Wink

I wish you all the best in your role as Attorney General. There are many gaps in Atlasian history that need to be filled. Wink

Your constituents don't recognize Xahar's decisions, why do you?

As long as he doesn't try to invade our region's operations, I won't pick too many fights with him. The AG does good work with the Wiki that he would be well suited for.

Of course, if he tries to revenge himself on us, there will be hell to pay.

The problem is not revenge, its that he should being prosecuted not playing the prosecutor

How often do AGs actually prosecute anyone?
