William Taft was kicked off the island. He was deeply unhappy as president & equally unhappy on the island. He will be noted as the first & last president who wanted to be directed to the boat.

Now, with 24 men left, it's your choice as to who stays, & who goes. Be aware that over 1/3 of the Presidents have now been eliminated. Now with numbers denoting the order in which they were voted off, per Torie's suggestion.

I changed more rules regarding tiebreakers in order to avoid future confusion. The changed content in the rules is still bolded. The rest is still DanimalBR's work.

I also changed a few of the following rules to make it easier for me.

To add, if I'm not online & the next topic is not open yet at or soon after midnight, Xahar, or anyone else of my choosing, can open the next one. If he's not available either, & it opens more than six hours late, the deadline will be pushed back a day to give everyone a fair chance to vote. Per the rules, this will close at the end of the day of Thursday, August 21th, 2008.

So that I can say that I fought against the proliferation of Big Government,

     FDR.

These save FDR movements are ridiculous, HE SUCKS

I wouldn't go that far, though nanny-states suck. I would probably try to save Lincoln because of Northern pride, but FDR? Not quite.

Dammit, looks like FDR might survive another round.  I wish Sam would have gone for FDR, I'm more than happy to help out with Lincoln after FDR is through.  But seriously he shouldn't have escaped round 1, this is ridiculous

As much as I have Northern pride, if Sam helps us take out FDR, I'll gladly help him take out Lincoln once it looks like he has a real shot at succeeding.

The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour had nothing to do with American support for Britain and everything to do with imperialistic expansionism throughout asia and the pacific.

As I recall, wasn't it because we stopped trading with them because of the atrocities they committed against the Chinese?

What an execrable log rolling scheme! Oh the horror! It must be defeated! Off damn spot!

FDR took out Silent Cal of all people. It's my job to avenge Coolidge now. Tongue

I happen to like FDR more than Lincoln.  But taking out Silent Cal was more than I can handle.

It's a Confederate revenge thing...  Tongue

Indeed. Knocking out our second most badass president was the last straw. Angry
