He's the President pro Tempore of the California senate, I do expect him to have somewhat of a presence in the state.

Most people who aren't atlas turbonerds don't know who the hell their representatives are besides Governor and to a lesser extent Senator.

     Yeah, State Senate PPT is basically unknown in the state. The poll bears this out too, since 80% of people had no opinion on De Leon.
