Once the military and police are completely disarmed, sure take the guns. No use for them or the 2nd amendment at that point.

Do you think most defensive uses of guns happens against the cops and military?  I can tell you that that is not true, it's almost exclusively criminals.
Of course I don't. What I'm referring to is the intention of the 2and amendment to ensure the right of American citizens to bear arms in defense against a hypothetically tyrannical government.
