@ Arch... Here is an alternate independence day from the internal colonies of America, that is still a proud mural in West Chicago....
It's a shame that after the past 120 years most "Americans" don't recognize Puerto Rico as an integral part of the history and background of America, let alone the sad history of American Colonialism following the defeat of the Spanish occupation of Puerto Rico back in the early 1900s.
Still--- I am proud to celebrate destroying the tyranny of the British Crown in the 13 colonies, despite whatever foreign policy mistakes were made over various centuries....
