After I read this I was trying to remember if I could name the exact dates of important events in my life and I couldn't even remember the year my grandfather died.  I had to remember that I was talking to a particular girlfriend about it, and that relationship was just in 2017, so it must have been 2017.  I don't remember the day at all, just that it was summer.  Probably sometime in August?

Ultimately the thing is that the number of a year doesn't matter.  What matters is what happened that year.  I remember that my grandfather died the same year I was dating this particular girlfriend.  And I remember that I dated that girlfriend during Trump's first year in office, because we went to a couple marches/protests that were "the first X march" like the March For Science.  I know that Trump was elected in 2016, so that must have been 2017.  That means my grandfather died in 2017.  The only reason I even know Trump was elected in 2016 is because "The 2016 Election" is baked into my head as the name for the event that happened that year.

What proves my cognitive capabilities here is that I remember that all these events happened in the same span of time.  That the year where they all happened was the year 2017 isn't really important.

I think Biden's most recent public appearance was yesterday at lunchtime when he delivered about 10 minutes of remarks at the Friends of Ireland luncheon alongside Speaker Johnson.

as you might expect, his speech was perfectly good, which is why instead of mocking him for the senility and dementia we've all been told to expect whenever Biden appears in public, the neanderthals at the RNC skipped it and instead put out an absolutely retarded tweet where they attacked him for walking down the stairs too slowly after the speech (he's walking totally normally and at the same pace as Speaker Johnson next to him) and then misidentified the Prime Minister of Ireland as "Biden's handler":
