Shame the Dems couldn't make more of an Akin out of her.  Akin becoming a national meme was a godsend for the party in 12.

If Coons was remotely in danger or this was in a remotely competitve stat the democrats would make it a national thing but right now the party apparatus is lazer focused on gaining the senate and defeating Trump

Yeah but the reason Akin was so damaging nationally was that he was a symbol of everything women hated about the Republican Party.  Motivated women to get out.
