Boy these are some tough questions.  Biden has been a little harebrained in the responses I've seen so far -- he starts off responding to the question, but then keeps getting distracted and going off on tangents.  It's not as bad as in the primary debates but it's kind of annoying.

He looks and sounds good though.  Very passionate, very angry, very empathetic.  This is also kind of a cool format, him standing out here in the middle of the night talking to people face to face.  It's very authentic-looking.

This Trump voter tried to sneak in a lie in her question, that Biden supports the Green New Deal, and Biden wasn't having it.  Kick some ass, Joe.

"Well, yeah, he did great, but he lied his way through it" was also the Obama campaign's talking point 12 hours after his first debate against Romney.  It's a really weak talking point.

Ironically, it may have actually been crucial to the race though because the real turning point for Obama was when Candy Crowley felt compelled to step in and do a live fact-check against Romney in the second debate.  All the ragging on Jim Lehrer for not fact-checking Romney may have worked the refs.
