Mostly good but Warren as treasury secretary is a disaster.

She should get CFPB which is what she always wanted, or some sort of new consumer advocacy watchdog czar thing.

Why are people commenting on this four-month-old thread as though it's anything more than the kind of random, baseless speculation we've grown accustomed to surrounding the Biden campaign?

Biden is gonna do what he wants and nobody is going to see any of it coming.  There are no leaks, and nobody knows a thing about what's going on in his mind or campaign.

That's only one post, the other posts are about Bloomberg and Dimon from the original post.

I really don't think treasury is the right place for Warren.  I'd much rather see some sort of specialized administration carved out for her, or just CFPB like she always should have had in the first place (but got torpedoed by Republicans).

God, I hope Biden doesn't choose some from Wall Street like Dimon or Finucane for Treasury secretary. He needs to pick someone like Cordray or Chiang.

Treasury secretary needs to be someone who is good at growing and managing the economy.

It really isn't an oversight position.  We have other agencies to handle that.

Biden pretty clearly has a set of Republicans he'd like to highlight as "what the Republican party should be"

Not too surprising to see him "considering" them for his cabinet.  If nothing else it boosts their profile.

The only one I really want to see is Sununu.  For much the same reason that Obama shipped Jon Huntsman Jr. off to China -- get rid of a potential political challenge down the road.  A Sununu Senate run could be very dangerous to a Democratic majority in 2022.  But Sununu doesn't seem like a guy who has a burning desire to overturn a Democratic Senate.  He probably just views that as the logical next step in his career -- and a high profile ambassadorship or cabinet post could be just as appealing.

Atlas Dems be like "Progress is a bus, not a train! He's not perfect of course, but he's so better than Trump!"

I suppose there's no point in telling you this, but just to continue countering misinformation, that's not a real Biden quote.  People continue to use it out-of-context and assign it the opposite meaning of what he actually said.

Heaven forbid we have a Democratic administration with one or two moderate Republicans in the cabinet.  That's just as bad as a Trump administration with the Cabinet 100% far-right-wingers, mostly unqualified and/or corrupt!
