I'm watching Rage, and its the Marilyn Manson cover of Tainted Love (so much worse than the The Living End cover). I can't believe teens still fall for this guy's act. He's just a different shade of commercial mass music.

I would be ashamed that i'm listening to Lady gaga, except that it's really good - 'Love Game'

Lets have some fun this beat is sick

I wanna take a ride on your disco stick

Don't think too much just bust that kick

I wanna take a ride on your disco stick

...hell yeah.

Also, i've been dared to do drag for $300 in july. If I do, i'll do it to this song Cheesy

Great choice for the soundtrack of your preversions there, Humbert.

However here's a better version of 'Love Games'.

But I'm listening to:

The Mighty Boosh - Eels Song

Yeah, it's the ANU Queer Drag night. I've decided i'll be "Lavinder Loca". For that kind of moey, it's worth it Smiley

2 Player Game by Infusion

I think it's pretty clear Australia leads the world in electro indiepop. This is more good stuff, out of Melbourne.

I'm working out my hottest 100 vote for the year.

I have it down to 16, with three definites (It's All My Fault; Way Back Home; Sunday Best by Nicholas Roy, Bag Raiders and Washington...all Aussie, which is nice.)

Here are the remaining 13, for 7 spots:

US - Band of Horses - Laredo
US/UK - Ben Folds/Nick Hornby - From Above
CA - Caribou - Odessa
CA - Chromeo - Don't Turn The Lights
AU - Cut Copy - Take Me Over
US - Darwin Deez - Constellations
AU - Evil Eddie - Queensland
UK - Gorillaz - On Melancholy Hill
AU - Kimbra - Settle Down
AU - Little Dragon - Feather
UK - Marina & The Diamonds - Hollywood
US - OK Go - This Too Shall Pass
US - Scissor Sisters - Any Which Way

www.triplej.net.au if you want to vote in the world's biggest music poll.

Take a 1-star song performed by a 2.5-star band and make a 4-star song? Apparently, it's possible!

Taken me until now to get around to listening to the new MUSE album, which should tell you what I thought of their last one.

-----

Only up to Panic Station, but so far a definite return to form, even if not as exceptional as Absolution.

Then you whine about it on FB not being that great and that you'll probably stop listening to them. Whore. Tongue

Yeah, about 4 songs after this post was made. My initial impression was wrong.
