The relief of PM Gillard being re-elected...sorta. At least, relief to avoid PM Abbott.

This is the International General Discussion board, so it'd be cool if it wasn't taken over by illiterates talking about non-international events.

If they genuinely feel that they were the most important and positive political events of the year, they should post them. They're wrong, but they have a right to feel that way - after all, the US is part of the same world as the rest of us.
