de Gaulle couldn't even keep France free; he should've kept quiet on the Quebec front.

If you cover up the left side (his right) of the photo of the guy, he looks like a lady.

Ron Paul needs something like the Godwin Law. Mention Ron Paul and lose 83% of your credibility, perhaps?

Bry-keen in my head, anyway.

Libertas' sig makes NYC look kind of like Scandinavia, somehow.

I think you mean PINGU, and I'm surprised more people haven't followed Al's lead by putting this adorable Swiss penguin in their signature.

The joke comes from "Keeping Up Appearances", a British comedy from the 1990s. The wife, Hyacinth Bucket, is an unbelievable snob who insists the name is a homophone for "Bouquet", and that it is the French pronunciation of her French surname.

In the same fashion that he claims to be Bayner. The Germans say something along the lines of Borner (non-rhotic r), I'm guessing, but the English pronunciation of Boehner should obviously be Boner if you aren't going to try to do the proper German way.

Px75: Still good.

Eagles appearing at rallies are fast becoming a cliche.
It's not a political event... Smiley Attila's our club mascot, actually, has been for five years (of course the club's crest - and the city's coat of arms - has always shown an eagle, I don't know who had the idea of nicking something from Cologne's book and getting a live animal mascot. Cologne have had goats since forever - 1950 to be exac; no other club in Germany has anything like that.) Though this picture appears to have been taken at season opening or whatever, he also attends all home games.

Reminds me of Sid, the Western Bulldogs' bulldog.
