He's one of the most loathsome Republicans in the Senate. He clearly wants to make waves, but why does Atlas seem so convinced he's running in 2024? He'll be finishing his first term, up for reelection, and just in his mid 40s. Isn't he more likely to put it off one or two more cycles, when the sentiment idea likely to be more favorable to the GOP, and he wouldn't be running against 2 juggernauts (DeSantis and Haley), possibly an incumbent VP, and at least 10-12 other sitting senators?
