This race was only won by Dem because the Belvin was so unliked.

Im not sure I buy that

Its true that Belvin was disliked but it also true that we are seeing a lot of the same trends that we saw in 2018

The suburbs continue to trend towards the Dems and away from Trump/GOP

Even with Hood losing, he's not doing all that badly. I think fears of impeachment backlash might have been put to rest tonight, atleast for the moment.

Im seeing no evidence of any impeachment backlash and that is the big news of these elections

In Kentucky they ran ads attacking the dems over impeachment but that did not work at all. this is a very ominous sign for the GOP since they believe the impeachment fight will help them.
