Disgusting stuff from the Christian Right once again. What else is there to be said?
Even the left-wing website that produced this article admits that the woman gave birth and then threw the baby in the trash. A jury convicted her of that crime. Does the secular left support the killing of born children now?
What a woman does with her body is not meant to be judged by a jury, prude.
The lady in question gave birth to the fetus. Whether it was stillborn may have been subject to debate at trial, but, reading between the lines of a terribly biased article, the jury must have found that the baby was born alive to convict her of one of the crimes.
So again I ask, does the secular left support the killing of born children now?
No, but the article mentions that they used highly unscientific methods to determine if the fetus was born alive. The real issue here are these theocratic anti-woman laws passed by conservative Christian blowhards that try to place blame on women for issues they might have with their own reproduction.
