Interestingly enough, Las Vegas is the NHL's most desired location for expansion.

Mm hmm.

Uh, no. That would be Seattle (followed by Quebec City)

Are either of those cities currently having a season ticket drive?

I'm pretty sure any season ticket drive in Vegas would pale in comparison to Quebec City. Las Vegas might work because there is no pro sports competition, but it's not exactly hockey crazy.

Of course it's probably a bad idea.  Doesn't mean it's not what the NHL brass seem to be set on.  I personally think it's abhorrant that the NHL would put another team in the desert while hockey-crazy Quebec City is about to hit two decades without a team.

Ahh. Well, when they were talking about moving Phoenix/Arizona, the media said Seattle was the most likely choice (much to my chagrin).

It seems like they want to expand to Seattle and Vegas; and leave Quebec as a relocation option for the Panthers/Coyotes/Hurricanes/etc.

Misleading title. I was hoping you and HockeyDude were going on a crazy, sex-drugs-and-rock'n'roll-filled rampage through Sin City.

Retromike is the last human being on the planet I would be going on a romp through Vegas with... But thanks for thinking of me.

Obviously my vicious racism against the Indian people has spread to my taste buds.
