Bushie, have you tried any local non-chain restaurants in the months since you moved to Tulsa?

Bushie is America.  America loves chains.  Do the math.

Even in college, no one seemed to eat as badly as Bushie.

It's just insane....

Bushie's diet seems to beyond comprehension, but I wish we had other Oklahoman fats to compare him to.  What's terrible to national standard may be just a bit below par in Tulsa.

Funny, because I COMPLETELY get what the article is saying when the Rangers are in the Stanley Cup Playoffs

Thank you, Bacon.  I'm glad the people have someone who protects them from activist mods.

I wonder if he brings the same "everything's fine, stop living in the past, why are you ganging up on me with these criticisms" attitude to his boss.

Do you think he shouts "I have done nothing wrong!" in all caps to his boss when they review his work?

It's a little heart breaking because every single day, without fail, he posts how wonderful of a day it was on FB.......he meant it, I think.........ugh.  Gut kick.

He's no different than many other super-Christey evangelicals.  All the ones I know glorify every single day.

And of course the suggestion of Bushie practicing CAD after work was quickly brushed aside.

I may do a little bit tonight, but mostly I am confident of my abilities, I just need to go all in on the focus part of it.

Alright - the issue isn't whether you are confident of your abilities, we have proof that you're a terrible judge of that. What matters is your boss's thoughts, he's clearly not happy. Don't pretend that because you had a good day that you're currently safe, you're not. It takes weeks of good days.

You're in no position to feel comfortable or that you can coast. Cut back the TV and the church and practice, practice, practice. Yes, you're going to give up leisure time to make yourself more valued in your job.

Fortunately, Bushie's willingness to cut back and/or miss out on things seems to include church, as he's updated us many a time about Grade 7s and whatnot spoiling his plans for evening corporate worship.

TV on the other hand...

Bushie's problem (well, one of them) is that he thinks work starts and finish and doesn't follow you home. Now, that's not ideal - far from it, but it is reality.

For example, I'm home unwell, probably with the flu/a virus. I was yesterday as well, but I did still checked emails and dealt with stuff happening in the office.

You need to shape up, having more 'focus' isn't going to do it - giving over your leisure time in the short term will help you in the long-term.

But as we know with his childish attitude to food and drink, I don't know if he can cope with that discomfort.

Work starting and finishing without following you home is certainly an ideal of a civilized society, but is unfortunately not the reality of the things.

Bushie, it's admirable that you are trying to make your time YOUR time, but it would be best to bust out the AutoCAD and review some of that material.

It is lunch time and today is tremendous.  I am catching other people's errors and correcting them.  My boss seems very happy today.  The day has flown by since I've been really busy.  I just wish you guys could be here with me to observe his reactions the past two days.  He's used words like good catch, good point, and good job.  It's a very good day indeed!

Now THAT'S what I call going all in on focus!

Good job, Bushie!

Sounds like it.  I like Bushie, but I fear he was totally the kid at recess running to the teacher about every little bit of juvenile dissent he saw.

He probably just woke up late and didn't have time to post. Give him a break... it's like you guys want to see him fail.

God damn you are so humorless.

Good Friday Evening!  I had a great day at work.  I worked until 1315 and then packed up my computer and took it over to the new office.  My boss will set it up either this evening or tomorrow so I can resume work at 0730 Monday Morning.  I got off this evening at 1520 when they were taking a break for supper.  I came on down to my parents and we had a steak dinner in Shawnee.  I had a New York Strip steak with a baked potato and a salad with ranch dressing.  Tomorrow, I have a couple of errands to run in the morning and then a dinner with my family at Grandma's and then I'll head back to Tulsa around 1830 or 1900.

What was in this salad - and having ranch just defeated the whole purpose.

Nah... Bushie is going to load fat into everything he eats.  Consider the fact that he ate a vegetable as a big victory.

I don't have chocolate that often, maybe once a month or less.

Why not 0 times per month?

There is nothing wrong with inducing a massive headache every now and then.

Enough Grade 7s will make the 3s easy like Sunday morning...

Bushie, if you want something sweet, can you at least try a mango like I've been badgering you to do for a while now?
