If she weren't already married, I think this would be Bushie's true soulmate:

That show looks awesome! Bushie should go on there and tell us about his addiction to bacon cheeseburgers! Braum's.

I mis Jeffison, but I am confident he will find a new partner of the female gender in due time. I just wish he'd learn to be more affectionate with girls. They love that stuff.

Yea, when he texts the girl, "Hello, I can not wait for Date #1 tonight at 18:00"... I'm not sure if "affectionate" would be the word...

I wonder what he does send to girls...did he ever touch her or was that all off limits?

I'm sure there was some touching... followed by hours upon hours of crying and requests for forgiveness.  Bloody religion!

Most people have four failed relationships by high school graduation. If your feeling are still hurt about Allison, that's fair enough, but don't beat yourself up about having a few exes. They were just for practice anyway.

Although his emotions now explain what actually happened.  The fact that he's still sad and she didn't get upset makes it pretty clear that it was her who did the dumping, and likely not Bushie who brought it up.

I think we have established she dumped him. He posted about how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her mere minutes before and then deleted it and announced she and he had split.

What we know is he was too stiff and stoic with her and didn't show her any affection, so she left him.

Oh, I didn't see that.  Did he post that here or on Facebook?  I'm still not allowed to be his Facebook friend.

The post was on his Facebook after they had brunch at Dennys. Then he removed it and said they had split, and that she was fed up with him so he just dumped her. It sounded like they had a pretty bad brunch.

Hopefully the food was good at least. Although considering it was Denny's, I can't imagine that was the case.

Are you high?  Denny's is Oklahoma Fabulous!

Won't people in Oklahoma think bushie is...you know...if he doesn't get married?

A pedophile?  Well yes, but we've already told him about that mustache.

I meant a gay. I assume most people think something is wrong with you if you're over 22 and single in Oklahoma.

Southerners I've met in the Navy are stunned when they find out I'm a single 26.  Bushie is waaaaaaaaaay past that.  The pestering from his peers and family must be indescribable.

If you're a 145 dark skinned greek boy in his 20s, maybe.  Not at 300lbs

Are there dark-skinned Greek boys in OK?  And isn't 300 fairly normal?

Hey, guys.  Lunch time.  Day is going very well.  My back is hurting today so I may stay home from church tonight and keep in a comfortable chair.  My office chair sucks and there are no other chairs to switch with.

Skip the church to get your back ready for tomorrow.  Jesus and God are well aware that you love them, better to rest up.

Currently on my television:  The first game of the FBS College Football Season 2014: a Sun Belt Conference match up featuring Abilene Christian vs. Georgia State on ESPNU.

Zzzzz. No Big Brother shows on tonight?

Indeed!  Jesus really needs to get off the sh*tter and send Bushie a lady friend.

My back is feeling better tonight, so I'll have no trouble getting to work tomorrow.  I have put in 25.5 hours this week and after an 8.5 hour day tomorrow, I will be able to take off at 1400 Friday.   Tomorrow night, I will watch the Texas A&M vs South Carolina game on the SEC NETWORK from 1700 to 2030 and then watch Big Brother.

Well done!  Told you a little R & R would go a long way.  People these days just don't understand the virtues of laying around and relaxing.

I think he meant to say Rich & Rare, which is hobo Canadian whisky.

Sorry, my last encounter with it was sometime in like February, and I'm glad I haven't had an opportunity to read the label since (I think I was crossing it in my head with "Canadian Royal", another aberration I've had the misfortune of falling prey to). In either case, hopefully Bushie's not drinking it and is saving his pennies to buy actual stuff.

My guess would be this is closer to what Bushie buys when he drinks:

Bushie, you enjoy sports so much. Have you ever considered playing anything? There are plenty of adult recreational leagues out there.

I much prefer being in the stands or parked in front of the TV.  I tried playing tennis in the 9th and 10th grades, but was never any good.  I thought about going out for 9th grade basketball, but I didn't.  I attended the first meeting for 10th grade football, but only to be the water boy.  That never materialized.  The last time I played anything and had fun at it was at recess in the 5th and 6th grades.  I was never interested in intramural sports in college.  The only sport I enjoy playing now and any good at is bowling.  I bowled in a league from the 4th to 12th grades and even got a scholarship from one of the tournaments I participated in.  My average is between 115-125.

Huh Was there heavy competition for the waterboy position?

I feel like Bushie would be pretty good at being one of the heavy guys who runs into the other row of heavy guys while the fast guys run around and throw balls at each other? I don't know if they have that position in rec football though.

You are talking about the linemen.  Yes, these guys weigh upwards up 300 lbs., but typically have some serious athletic ability for men their size.  Bushie would get chucked around like a rag doll despite his weight.  Besides, in most pickup games (or rec), you just have a quarterback and receivers.

If we are talking about Bushie-friendly sports, I suggest he start with curling.

I couldn't even get Our Dear Friend to watch the sport but I'll still suggest he try to play Soccer. Could you imagine that? Maybe he can play in goal.
Way too much running in soccer. Maybe he could play softball.

Nope.  He has to run the bases.  ODF really has to break out the walking gear and get the legs moving.

Talk about an article Bushie REALLY needs to read!

http://www.iflscience.com/brain/junk-food-rats-ditch-balanced-diet-eat-just-obese-people

I know that science is the devil and all, Bushie, but sometimes you really should listen when the heathens are trying to help you.  It doesn't seem like science bothers you at all when you are using that TV to watch 57 hrs of football on the weekend or that fridge to keep the Diet Dr. Pepper cool and crisp.

Week 4 was by far the best week of my career so far.  Very few things went wrong and I showed tremendous progress.  I can tell my boss is pleased because his demeanor is changing.  He is starting to become comfortable with me taking on more difficult and more involved projects.  The first month is unofficially over and I have made a lot of progress in the 20 days that I have been there.  I'm looking forward to what month 2 will bring.  Right now, though, I have a 3-day weekend ahead of me and I am going to take it easy and watch a lot of football.  I counted it up and I will be watching 10 football games and 2 baseball games between tonight and Monday night.  It all starts in 45 minutes at 1800.

So no thoughts on my post?  I know that things are going great with the job, but there are other positive steps you can make in life, and positives tend to feed into each other.  You should use the job success as a motivator to make other good changes.

I know.  He's completely ignoring his health and vegetating all weekend in the chair for football.  RIP Getting Serious About His Weight Loss : (

The sad part is how ordinary his takes on football are for someone who watches as much of it as he apparently does.

Astute observation.  Hardly any analysis beyond the abilities of your average girlfriend-who-watches-with-you.

Bushie, at least "wow" us with some interesting stats.

If there is anything interesting about this season, it's that Bushie posts like nobody else is even here.  Sidejackin' It In The Train Room?  That was so short-lived, and the CADD job has been going well for a month now.  This season is clearly something like Sketching Shapes In His Solitary Shell.

RIPing in Update is a lot of fun and an Update tradition, but bosses yell at their employees all the time.  I say we go with "RIP Assumptions : (" when all this blows over and Bushie is back at work tomorrow.

I am home from work and supper is over.  I had a bad day, but a learning day.  I'm in no danger of losing the job, but I just made several mistakes today that kind of set my boss off.  He never raised his voice, but he was upset.  He also was in a crabby mood, so that combined with my mistakes made for a bad day.  But, I prayed about it on the way home and I feel better tonight, just tired.  I am going to learn from my mistakes and try again tomorrow.  Everybody has bad days and everybody makes mistakes, so I'm far from alone in that respect.  I've only been there one month, so I still have a learning curve, yet, but some of the mistakes are the exact same mistakes I've been making time after time.  It's like I regressed some from the end of August.  The way I see it, though, I have had so many great days, but this kept me in check.  Tonight, I am going to watch the opening game of the 2014-2015 NFL Season on NBC at 1930 and then I think I will watch Big Brother from 2230-2315 before I go to bed.  Tomorrow is Friday, so I'll be fine.  Even though I had a bad day, I am looking forward to getting back in there tomorrow and improving on my errors.  All is good in my neck of the woods!  God is so very good!!

Good attitude!

Jeff, why don't you play with that computer/CADD program that your parents bought you tonight instead of watching football?

I'm worried that you're not quite getting this CADD stuff.

Eraser... it IS kickoff night we are talking about here.

What would you choose for dinner?  TGI Friday's or Cracker Barrel?
