The first thing that come to my cynical little mind when I read this, is that Blago is fishing for Pubbie votes in the state Senate to vote against his conviction. Smiley

He's done no favors for the Senate Rs over the last six years. Sen Prez Jones was his bulwark in the legislature and Jones used it against the Rs regularly. More likely he's fishing for a jury pool. The criminal case is still looming.
