Senator Torie is a good Senator, but he was not very active in the Senate since Christmas. He is to the right of me, but I have a high opinion of him because he was standing for Pacific's inhabitants.

I wouldn't be a candidate if he was running again.

So, I thing than Torie is too to the right. Paficiers are, mainly, members of JCP or SDP, two left parties, and a majority of inhabitants are on left too.

I would stand for leftist economic, social and cultural ideas, ideals and issues. On regional issues, I will probably vote ''Aye'' on anything because I think than the entire people must decide, not only those who are Senator.

If you want more details, feel free to ask.

Ben, dear convicted fraud voter, I think than people should protect regional rights. I will vote ''Aye'' for all constitutional reforms on regional issues, no matter their content. The equilibrium between regions and federal government should be voted by the people, not the Senate.

Coffeebeans, dear probable account of Ogis, the things who are the most important for me are the ''Social issues'' in general. Mostly gay rights, workers rights and things like that.

What would you do as Senator to reform Atlasia itself? It's system of government, updating the wiki, etc.

Good question. Sorry for making you waiting.

For updating the wiki, I think than that is the job of all Atlasians, but in first governors and the General Attorney. I would edit it, but I didn't find how to register. That is the problem number 1 of the wiki. All is hidden, not simple to understand, outdated.

All reforms must be the people and for the people. I will vote any constitutional amendment in the Senate, so the people would decide what is the best for them. I don't have a precise idea of what is best for now. That is a very complicated question and there is a problem if you find a solution to this problem in a few minutes. This problem is very complex.

It is a not so well-kept secret that Xahar from behind the scenes still influences the thought of the SDP.  His ban will expire during your senate term, what influence do you plan to allow Xahar to hold over you and would you consider him allowing to rejoin the SDP and gain their endorsement?

Xahar has no more influence on the party.

Xahar has no more influence on me. I probably hate him more than you. He lied to me, he deceived me. I can't accept that. It is very hard to lose my trust, but he succeed. I hate him.

Technically, he is still in the party, but he has lose the right to talk and to vote in the party. I will stand against any tentative for give him the right to talk and to vote in the party. Finally, me and Marokai pledged during the trial to resign our positions in the party and to quit the party if Xahar is endorsed as a candidate.

So Purple, if I understand well, you want my opinion on current Senate bills and on the issues themselves.

''Nuclear Power Advancement Bill'' and energy issues

I support this bill. I'm not a big supporter of nuclear power because of the problem of nuclear waste, but nuclear is better than coal, oil and natural gas. I prefer renewable resources like wind and hydroelectricity, but I know than this is not possible everywhere. We must help to find ways to do efficient and secure stockage of the waste and help scientists who are searching ways to reduce this problem.

Free Communications Bill

I totally disagree with the idea of a ''Commission for Media Truth''. I don't like than the government can decide what the truth is. We should only act when a thing is blatantly false. I support the Federal Communications Commission, but his power should be greatly limited.

Repeal of the Affirmative Action Bill

No affirmative action. People can't be discriminated because they are white men. We struggle for equality. Affirmative action is not equality. The most competent person for an office should be hired, no matter his sex or his skin color. Also, that can bring racism because an immigrant will be hired before a person who lived in Atlasia since his birth, regardless of the competence of the person.

Fair Trade Renewal Bill

I agree with the Smid's amendment. Laws must be clear and not subjective. If a country subsides a product, we must put a tariff on that product. If we do not, we are victims of dumping. Also, free trade must be reciprocal and only with countries who respect workers and environment. That's important to me. Atlasia is not a dump for cheap labor products.

Amendment to the Marijuana Legalization and Taxation Act

I agree to this act. I like than some power is delegated to regions, but I will talk of that in details in my inactivity platform.

I will continue later.

Yeah it looks good. I was wondering for the nuclear energy, will you use that till you can find another way for energy or will you let Atlasia become reliant on it?

It would depend of when and what is that energy. In fact, I don't expect than a new way to produce energy will be discovered during my term.

Atlasian Tax Code Resolution

While the preamble of this resolution is wrong, I think than rewriting the tax code is a good idea.

Modification to the World War II Commemoration Act

Despite the name, that will delete the Martin Luther King Day. I oppose deleting holidays. Our workers needs more holidays, not less. Holidays make than employees are happier and reposed, so they will be more productive.

Comprehensive Drug Reform Bill

Nay. I disagree with legalizing a drug without proof than this will be not a danger for the children of the nation. Also, I think than we should act one drug by one. Each drug is unique. The original bill, for legalizing heroine, is an awful bill. That's one of the worst drugs!

Atlasian Agriculture Reinvestment Bill

I oppose cutting agriculture subsidies for small farms. I agree with Clauses 3 and 4. Rich people don't need subsidies. For the tobacco, I would cut any subsidies now, but I would give them money to help them to convert to the farming of another plant.

We say Nyman, not DC anymore.

Workers' Bill of Rights Bill

Don't like than the ''living wage'' part was deleted. Also dislike than an artificially balanced commission name the Chairmen of the OAL.

Fuel Efficient Cars Bill

Good idea to help people to get more environmental cars.

Atlasia-Iraq Free Trade Bill

I agree with the law. Iraq is a fair and free country. Regulations on work and environment are sufficient there, I suppose. I also agree with PS' amendment. We should help other countries who wish to enhance and consolidate their democratic system.

I know than the election already began, but I want to talk about the last element of my program: Activity.

People are talking about getting more members in Atlasia. I don't like than we focus on number. We must focus on finding quality Atlasians, not those new kinds of zombie voters, who are posting just enough times to become Atlasians and after only come to vote.

We need quality Atlasians, not people who are not able to say something coherent to support their views.

Atlasia is a country of debates, not a country of ''Aye'', ''Nay'' and ''I vote for him''.

Quality is what is needed for Atlasia and I will fight in the Senate for laws to maintain or to improve quality. I will not let Atlasia going downhill.

I agree with the Constitutional Amendment to raise what is needed to vote in Atlasia.

The other element of activity than I want to talk about today is Regional Activity. I remember the law to create grants to help students to go to university. How to distribute it was leaved to regions. Some regions decided to debate on that. That is very good. When I will be elected, I will approve of laws doing that. I will also support to retire the money to a region if a region does nothing to decide how to spend it.

Healthcare

Since most senators did a speech on healthcare, I suppose than I will do the same.

I voted aye to the healthcare bill this afternoon. This bill is a very good case of multipartisan work to create a version than most senators agree with. This is also a very progressive bill who will bring Atlasia with other Western countries in a society who cares about with poor people.

Pacific electors, you elected me to support and push progressive and liberal ideas in Senate and you proved your support for progressive ideas by heavily voting for Fritz, who proposed the bill, in the Special Election and for the progressive agenda of the President Lief. Together, we made a big step with this bill by working across the aisle, but by refusing to give up on our principles.

I would like to thank the fellow senators who took time to write amendments, to debate on the bill and spend time on the very important subject of healthcare.

Together for another 2 months and half, at least...

Hello? Is the mic in my office is properly working? Don't be afraid of me, I won't kill you, I promise...

Dear Pacificans, I will run for another term and it seems than I will have an opponent, this time.

True, I don't talk very much and my profile is very low, even if I think to work to raise it. But I stand for liberal and leftist ideas, ideas than you support, seeing results of past election. I fight for you and I will continue to do so.

I run again since I am interested to do even more, because we need strong voices to push the President's agenda. I will continue my very close work with Senator Marokai Blue to bring Atlasia and Pacific on the progress way and to protect you from Conservatives, from business interest who don't care about workers and from the people who are thinking than Senators should regulate morality.

Thanks for listening your Regional Senator.
