Thus making him ineligible to run with Reagan, if you play by those rules....

Or at least, the electors from CA couldn't vote for him.

He was from California when he was VP, but when he ran for President, he was from New York, at least according to the Atlas.

In 1960 I think he ran from California, same with 1972 didn't he?
