Tether kept Brent East and Howard is re-elected

Bah, I hate Sarah Teather, she is really patronising yet a complete moron.

In other news, Simon Hughes holds his seat with a reduced majority, his vote fell by 9.8% and Labour rose by 2%. Good old Kirsty, I knew she'd cut the margin nicely. Majority is now only 14.2%, formerly 26.1% I believe.

Brent East was listed as Labour.

Labour won it in 2001 but lost it in a by-election.

What seat are you JFK?

Lewisham West - Jim Dowd's seat, he has a thirty percent majority I believe. I helped the campaign on Sunday.

Interesting attack, Galloway attacked the returning officer - "You have presided over a shambles of an election" - Damn straight if you won it Galloway. I hate the man, met him and was insulted by him after I attacked his stance on Israel and accused him (rightly) of race baiting.

When do Northern Ireland results come in?

The last, and largely Tory.

Northern Ireland results will arrive Friday afternoon around 4pm GMT I believe.

The main parties generally don't stand with separate Irish parties winning the seats generally.

Galloway won by standing in a high muslim proportion constituency and only talking about Iraq. Campaigners told people not to vote for King as she was Jewish, a lot of dirty campaigning there and race baiting.

States, the BNP won't win one, I am disgusted by their vote totals.

Ah the joys of Jeremy Paxman.

Of "Did you threaten to overrule him?" fame - Interview with Michael Howard where he asked the same question about fifty times and Howawrd still didn't answer it.

damn, I forgot about you JFK.  well, I'll post this anyway.

Haha, I am beyond tiredness, thank God no school today, heh.

Anyway, if you have a spare minute http://www.gbjab.com - it is amusing Smiley.

Nickshep, it could be any time before Blair steps down or is kicked out by his party, there is no set amount of time.

Do you think he will eventullay be forced out or step down?  Or will he continue on as PM untill the next election?

Not sure, he won't face another election he has said. Also, it may not be Brown who replaces him.

Howard is only staying on as leader of the party until they change the way they elect the leader. Good choice probably, their current system gave them IDS last time.....
